2 Years Ago, it all began

I can't believe it has been two years ago since Carter was born. We call him trouble, but he brings such life and happiness into all of our lives. If there is one thing he enjoys, its laughing

This is what we pay the big bucks for

We saw one at home, and Professor Katie proclaims(and correctly, I might add) "That's an earwig!!!!!"

It seems destined that each one of our kids gets one bad hair cut

I guess that's one errand I won't be sent on again

This is what summer is all about

Its almost August and that means that its almost time to return back to school. I'm looking forward to Carter joining Katie at Follow the Child. I've been able to spend a lot of time with him lately, of just one on one time - and I've enjoyed every single moment of it. He is so refreshing and quite a challenge, but he is also so generous and considerate.

I do also miss spending time with Katie. Jenny always says we've got some special bond, and I think that is so true. Katie seems to be having lots of fun and trying new things as well, so knowing how her personality is, I'm very proud of her (as usual)

What fun weekend!

Carter and I had a lot of fun hanging out this weekend. Jenny took Katie on a Girl's Night Out (though I threaten to crash the party along with Carter), but we decided to be good guys and head out to the RDU Observation Deck instead.

And on Saturday, boy, he was in heaven. He got to race cars


And most of all, he got to play a game where he gets to "hit" things and not hear the proverbial "No hitting di-di!!"

I'm loving the summer time, no more rushing to eat, rushing to bed, and sleeping in a little bit later than usual.
